In spiritual care, the soul is restored by trusting in God’s provision, presence and patience. The question is whether or not you and I will find our rest by being gentle with ourselves and others.
For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. ~2Corinthians 4:6
In spiritual formation, the knowledge of God’s glory and the light of Christ’s love transforms one’s heart. The question is whether or not you and I will learn how to live in the light of Christ’s love?
Thus says the Lord: “Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. “But they said, “We will not walk in it.” ~Jeremiah 6:16
In spiritual direction, one stands, looks and asks for God’s presence where the soul finds rest along life’s journey. The question is whether or not you and I will come to The Lord who is always inviting us to draw near.

LEARN…Our response to the Lord.
REST…The Lord’s freedom for us.
